Ok Beka,
Aprons (Y/N): I have a few cute aprons, but would really love one with a nice big sash. I think they are so cute, but got out of the habit of wearing them when I was pregnant and couldn't fit into one. In fact, I don't know where my aprons are since we moved!
Baking (Favorite thing to bake): Hmmmm ... I enjoy cooking more then baking, but I guess I'd have to say cookies are my favs. I plan on whipping up a batch of the chocolate chip variety tomorrow. I also like making muffins ... we are having some tonight.
Clothesline (Y/N): Our townhouse association doesn't allow for clotheslines. I've had some bad experiences with hanging my clothes on the line in the past! My mom loves and feeds birds, and her birds repaid her goodwill with relieving themselves on my bedsheets which were hanging on the line. The indignity! This happened more then once. Scraping bird guano off of ones linens is not fun, I assure you.
Donuts: Love. them. Right now, my favorites are D&D strawberry frosted WITH sprinkles. Darling, if you happen to read this, today would be a wonderful day for you to come home with a couple.
Every Day (One homemaking thing you do every day): Shine my sink before I go to bed. Yes, I literally polish it with a rag. It only takes a minute if you have done the deep clean, and you'll see the reflection of your smiling face in the morning! Any other flybabies out there?
Freezer (Do you have a separate deep freeze?): No, but would love to. Probably one of the things in our future.
Garbage Disposal (Y/N): Yes ... I use it daily.
Handbook (What is your favorite homemaking resource?): I have several: my mom, GOOGLE!!, and other people's blogs.
Ironing (Love it or hate it?): Hate. It.
Junk drawer (Y/N) (Where?): I have three! One is in the kitchen, but it isn't that bad because we just moved. One is the top drawer of my dresser which gets straightened about once a quarter, and the last I just straightened ... one of our desk drawers in the office. None of these drawers are in great disarray right now, but that is only because we just moved a couple of months ago.
Kitchen (Design and decorating): Pretty small, but nice and cozy with an apple theme. We plan on redoing some of it in the next year or so. I'm slowly making it my own. I spend so much time in my kitchen, and love it even though it is half the size of my last one!
Love (What is your favorite part of homemaking?): I love vacuuming and decorating, and cooking. I love creating an ambiance of comfort and love (not perfection!) for my loved ones.
Mop (Y/N): Yes I do, although I prefer scrubbing on hands and knees.
Nylons: Ahhh ... yes. I am a girly-girl. But I do NOT wear nylons while cooking, cleaning, and scrubbing!
Oven (Do you use the window or open the door to check?): Open the door, since we need to replace the oven light.
Pizza (What do you put on yours?): Ummmm ... can I admit that we have only made our own pizza once? We put onions and sausage on that one. However, my hubby loves a pepperoni pizza, and I love one with pineapples and ham.
Quiet (What do you do during the day when you get a quiet moment?): I'm having one right now. I put on the teapot, read or write, or read blogs. Sometimes if I am having a particularly tiresome day, I try to nap.
Recipe card box (Y/N): Nope ... I have a recipe notebook and a file of recipes that are supposed to go into the notebook when I have time. Also in that file are past weekly menus from when I was industrious enough to make a menu for the week.
Style of house: We live in a townhouse which has two stories plus a finished basement. Three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and a den/office.
Tablecloths and napkins? Always napkins, paper for every day, cloth for company. Sometimes a tablecloth, if I'm in the mood! Placemats, if I'm not in the mood for a tablecloth.
Under the kitchen sink (Organized or toxic wasteland?): In between.
Vacuum (How many times per week?): Three times a week.
Wash (How many loads of laundry do you do in a week?): Six.
X's (Do you keep a daily list of things to do and cross them off?): Yes, I do!
Yard (Who does what?): The townhouse association maintains everything. I can do flowers and maybe an herb garden in spring and summer. We've only been here for the winter, though.
Zzz's: What are they? Just kidding. I usually get enough sleep.

Very Nice. How dare you complain about my birds!
Hee hee... that was great! Wasn't it fun?
You really vacuum THREE times a week??
ps. I realized after I posted mine that we actually have 2 additional junk drawers-- we each have one in our nightstand. Oops!
What a fun peek into your life! We are very similar, you know! :)
Hey! I LOVE your new library thing! That's really neat and so you, the Miss Lover of Reading. And thanks for including a certain book there which I will let remain nameless. You'll have much fun keeping that up. Wow, people can do EVERYTHING online now! Hope you're feeling better.
