"Det Down, Det Down," she pleaded.
I put her down and went into the kitchen to measure out the coffee. I heard her bustling and banging about in her play kitchen, but I didn't give it another thought.
A few minutes later, she appeared, triumphant. She handed me her pretend kitchen aid (it does resemble a coffee pot!) and a plastic cup.
As I took it from her, she decisively said, "Daddy."
So Daddy got two cups of coffee that morning, and her pretend pot has been next to the real one ever since. Sometimes we make coffee in her pretend pot just for fun!

She is really going to be a helper---I can tell! She's going to spend a LOT of time at Nanna's house when she gets really good at it! I know that little coffee pot!
That is so cute.. children are so observant!
That is SO cute Bev!! I can't believe how much she's growing up- she's a smart little girly! :)
So sweet Beverly! My girls do similar things, Emma loves to bake pretend cakes. Nice freezer by the way!

What??? I thought for sure I'd commented on this.
Anyway, this made me smile! That little girl is so sweet! She is growing up so fast, though.
Hugs to you and Lena!
I would certainly love to have a cup of coffee from Lena's coffee pot...I can smell it from here and it smells delicious!!!
