Meditate on these things

Philippians 4:8 says, “Finally brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy, meditate on these things.”

Life is getting busy for this momma! I'm sorry I haven't been around as much as usual to catch up on all of my favorite friends! I will catch up -- I can't go too much longer without knowing how you all are doing. As my hubby says to Selena when I am at the computer, "Shhhhhh!!!! Don't bother Mommy, she's blogging!"

I had an excerpt ready for my Glimpses at the Classics, but alas, it will have to wait until next week. I feel like I am constantly saying that - probably because I am!

I just wanted to let you all know that I have a new website and blog - but you probably won't read it too much unless you are between the ages of 12-18.

Some of you may know that my sister, Neesie, is 14 years old. I wanted to start a place where she and other Christian girls in her general age category would be encouraged to meditate on all of the truths set forth for us in Philippians 4:8. The website, entititled The Girl Inside, and its associated blog, are both works in progress.

If any of you have any young women in your aquaintance who are striving to serve the Lord, I would be so appreciative if you would let them know about The Girl Inside. Also, if any of you have any writings (from your blog or otherwise) that you would like to share, I am collecting them for the website and blog. What I may be able to use may be limited because of the scope and purpose of the website, but I'd really appreciate any submissions. My email for anything pertaining to the site is joyousmommie@girlinside.com.
I'll be back with more regular stuff next week. Have a great weekend, my friends!!

Yaay! You finally got it going! This is one person who is NOT between the ages of twelve and eighteen who WILL be reading it--after all, I have to check up on what one daughter is reading and what the other daughter is doing! I'll be praying that the Lord will give you many opportunities to minister to girls during this needy period in their lives. Blessings in your new adventure. Mama

I'm so very excited about this! I, too, will be a regular visitor to your new site even though I'm almost 10 years over the age bracket :-)
I look forward to watching it unfold and flourish!

Such a precious idea!!! I love it. Too bad that all girls I know are German and just hate English.

And its so beautifully designed!

Maybe you can invite Darrah from http://darrahsdreams.blogspot.com/ she is a great girl!
She can be contacted via her Moms blog:

Great idea Bev! May I link to it from my Higher Ground webpage? My students are the perfect age to appreciate the site. I also have some ideas for submissions - I'll let you know more later.
